Meet the Staff of OFS

We are so excited that you have chosen OFS! Your best care is our highest priority and we look forward to making your experience a positive one. We can't wait to learn more about you during your offices visits and wanted you to know a little bit about us, too!

Christy – RN

Christy is a graduate of Beauregard High School and received her Associate's Degree in Applied Science and a Nursing Degree from Southern Union State Community College. Additionally, she is a certified anesthesia assistant, CPR instructor, and is ACLS certified. She is also employed at East Alabama Medical Center. She has three wonderful boys, who are her life, Chase, Caleb, and Carson. She has been with the OFS team for 12 years.

Tania – LPN

Tania and her family moved to Opelika in 1979 after her father retired from the Air Force. She graduated from Opelika High School in 1988 and attended Opelika State Technical College where she received her L.P.N. Degree in 1990. She and her husband, Cedric, have two boys, Robbie and Dallas. She is very active in her congregation and loves spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.
She has been with the OFS team for 8 years.

Traci – RN

Traci grew up on Lake Martin and still lives in Dadeville. She and her husband, Donald, have 3 children, Chris a freshman in college, Kayla a senior in high school, and Alaina a freshman in high school. She enjoys shopping, gardening, going to movies, baseball, and softball games. She has two pets, a chocolate lab named Co-Co and a calaro cat named Elvira – her sister named her! She has been with the OFS team for 7 years.

Amy – RN

Amy graduated from Valley High School in 1994 and received her RN degree from Southern Union State Community College in 1997. She is ACLS certified. She and her husband, David, have a daughter, Hunter. They also have a white Chihuahua named Bella. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and scrapbooking. She has been with the OFS team for 5 years.

Tawanda – Lead Surgical Assistant

Tawanda was born in Opelika at East Alabama Medical Center and raised in Valley. She graduated from Valley High School and received a degree in Medical Office Administration from Opelika State Technical College. She is also a certified anesthesia assistant. She and her husband, Eddie, have one son, Darion and a step-daughter, Akeiba. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and shopping. She has been with the OFS team for 15 years.

Jane – Surgical Assistant

Jane was born and raised in Opelika, Alabama. She graduated from Lee-Scott Academy in 2006 and currently attends Chattahoochee Valley Community College where she is in Nursing School. She is a member of the Church of the Highlands in Auburn. She is engaged to Jonathan McClain and they have one dog named Taz. In her free time, she loves to travel, spend time with friends and family, loves being outdoors, and occasionally shopping. She has been with the OFS team for 3 years.

Jodie – Surgical Assistant

Jodie graduated from Valley High School in 2002. She received her Associates Degree in Applied Science and a Surgical Technology Degree from Southern Union State Community College. She recently married her high school sweetheart, Justin, in June 2009. They have two dogs, Blondie (Yellow Lab) and Lucy (Black Lab). I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and outdoor activities with my dogs. She has been with the OFS team for 2 years.

Elisa – Surgical Assistant

Elisa was born in California, but spent most of her life growing up in Utah. She graduated from Mountain View High School and received her Associate's Degree in Applied Science at Utah Valley University. She married her husband, Jake, in March 2008. She has been with the OFS team for 10 months.

Ashley C. – Consult/Scheduling Coordinator

Ashley grew up in Opelika and graduated from Beauregard High School in May 2000. She and her husband, Jason, have two amazing boys, Tyler and Brody. She enjoys spending time with her family and being outside. She has been with the OFS team for 7 years.

Beverly – Front Office/Insurance Coordinator

Beverly moved to Opelika in 1999, from Opp, Alabama. She is a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, where her husband, Ricky is Associate Pastor. She and Ricky have a daughter, Ashley, a son-in-law, Kerry, and a grandson, Eli. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has been with the OFS team for 6 years.

Ashley T. – Receptionist/X-Ray Technician

Ashley graduated from Beulah High School in 2002. She and her husband, Heath, live in Cusseta with their 3 furry babies, Molly, (a beagle mix), Copper, (Bassett Hound), and Dixie (Bobtail cat). She spends most of her time outdoors, doing activities like 4-wheeling, going to the races, and gardening. In the future she plans on returning to school to pursue a degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been with the with OFS team for 4 years.

Jennifer – Office Coordinator

Jennifer grew up in Hoover, Alabama and graduated from Hoover High School. She attended Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham, Alabama and transferred to Auburn University in 2003, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in August 2005. She has been married to her husband, Chris, since October 2007. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her four legged children, Hannah (Boxer), Hayden (Boxer), Little Girl (German Shepherd mix), and Lily (Rat Terrier). She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, traveling, and going to the beach. She has been with the OFS team since May 2009.
